Who is Loveybug?
Loveybug was born when we asked the question: what would Marinette's version of Catwalker look like? A side of her she never shows her partner as Ladybug, brought to light... a side of her that's completely over-the-top in love. Enter Loveybug.There have been many different interpretations of Loveybug since the idea was born. This zine aims to celebrate the creativity and collaboration we have seen in the fandom, and of course, the love.Take a look at the Loveybug AU tag on Tumblr if you want to see more!
What will be expected of contributors?
Writers will be expected to complete one 2k-3k word fic. Artists will be expected to complete at least one of the following: fully illustrated page art, 2-4 pieces of spot art, or a piece of digital merch.
Where can I apply?
Applications for writers, artists, and betas can be found on this page!We have no plans to open mod apps at present. We're lucky to have a wonderful mod team!
Will the zine be a physical or digital release?
The zine will be a free digital release. However, if you would like to have a physical version, you are encouraged to print a copy when the zine is released. Print-friendly versions of the art will be provided!
Will you email me if I am rejected?
Yes, we will let you know if we are unfortunately unable to accept your application!
Is AI art/writing allowed?

I have moderated for several events, including Coup de Foudre: An Adrinette Zine, Ladynoir July, and the Miraculous Square Dance Remix Event. I'm so excited to work with the founders of Loveybug to bring this zine to life!

And when the idea of a zine dedicated to celebrating Loveybug was proposed, I couldn't help but want to jump on board. While this is my first zine, I do have experience with formatting articles for online publication, so I will be acting as Layout Mod. I'm very excited to see what our creators make and to help bring it all to fruition when we publish this summer.

Guidelines
General
All art and fics should remain SFW.
This is a passion project by and for people who love the show. As such, please avoid salt in either zine pieces or the zine server.
Loveybug should be the focus of your piece. Her design, how she comes to be, whom she is working with, and any other details are up to you. We’re here to celebrate any and all depictions of Loveybug created by the community!
For this zine, we will not be considering pairings of minors and adults, even if the younger character is aged up.
Writers/Betas
Writers will be responsible for one 2k-3k word fic.
Betas will be expected to collaborate with writers to polish fics for publication.
Artists
Page artists will be responsible for one single or double page illustration.
Spot artists will be responsible for 2-4 small drawings, designed as decorative elements for a page. They will be collaborating with a writer to illustrate a fic.
Merch artists will be responsible for one piece of digital merch.
